Rapid and sustainable growth is her driver. From early in her career as a Merger and Acquisitions lawyer, Vanessa was able to help businesses to grow and succeed by acquiring other players in the market.
Her passion for exploring different countries and cultures took her from her native country Brasil, to Australia and then the UK where she did her MBA at Lancaster University.
Straight after completing her MBA, she started working with a consulting firm where she was able to support senior leaders through massive change projects which involved strategic planning.
Currently, she is working in the technology industry helping her company to deliver on its growth strategies.
During her career, she has learned that to be successful requires more than hard skills, but that having the correct attitude and openness to embrace new challenges played a massive role on her development and performance. This is the foundation of the growth mindset concept which she is looking forward to exploring more with you!
Steve is an experienced C suite level Executive who has operated at the highest levels in global businesses, growing them organically and through successful acquisitions.
Originally from Brisbane, Queensland (Australia), his leadership roles gave him the opportunity to live in the US and be responsible for business units across the Middle East, Europe, Americas and Asia/ Pacific.
He is passionate about growing businesses and developing great leaders and cultures that engaged employees and helped facilitate a work environment that was fun and rewarding.
Steve retired from full time senior executive roles at 50 years of age, which had been a long-term goal of his. He still maintains some non-executive board roles and also consult to global businesses on some projects. Not working full time now has freed up his time to now enjoy travel with his wife, play some golf, and of course enjoy some wine.
Astrid Poupart-Lafarge is the Schneider Electric Global Segment President of Energies and Chemicals.
Prior to this Astrid served as Strategic Account Manager as well as Oil & Gas segment leader in French speaking Africa. Astrid has also had experience in Strategy and Marketing with Schneider Electric in Nigeria. She was head of business development and M&A in a renewable energy company headquartered in Paris, France.
With almost 20 years of professional experience in all kind of business development: strategy, marketing, sales, M&A, in Oil & Gas but also in utilities and renewable power plants, and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, Astrid Poupart-Lafarge will drive Schneider Electric Energies and Chemicals Segment towards better growth while helping customers in their digital transformation and energy transition.
She lives in France with her family.

Born and raised in Portugal, resident in Spain and working on a daily basis with more than 5 different nationalities. Inês has 10 years of experience in digital marketing and product management roles. Currently working as Portugal Country Leader in Amazon, she previously held other roles in the company, as well as in Google and Unibal-Rodamco-Westfield. Some of her most relevant work experience is related to Amazon Prime across Portugal, Spain and Italy.
Amazon Prime is one of the world’s largest loyalty programs, with more than 200 million members worldwide. Inês was in charge of launching Amazon Prime in Portugal a year ago. Previously, she led the team who develop the program’s marketing optimization strategy in Spain, and developed the marketing plans for the launch of Prime Video, Prime Music and Prime Reading in both Italy and Spain.
Inês holds a BA in Economics (School of Economics, University of Porto) and a CEMS MIM Double Degree (Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon and Aalto School of Economics in Helsinki).
I have been fortunate to have Puerto Rican/American background and live in New York City and London while also traveling to various cities in the Americas and Europe for business, meeting the most incredible people and working on varying projects. As wear a few hats but they related to each other well.
I lead a team of solicitors and professionals at gunnercooke llp working on International business. The team is a diverse group from Brazil, Portugal, Spain and also qualified in multiple jurisdictions. I also consult as a management advisor to entrepreneurs and businesses interested in expanding in the UK.
This ad hoc service business allows me to work with a wide range of industries and assist managers in reaching their objectives.
Ashley is an experienced consultant with 25 years’ experience of advising senior leaders on their strategic people topics.
He has worked with organisations on their strategic leadership issues, ranging from board effectiveness, leadership team dynamics, executive succession planning, leadership coaching and development. Ashley has designed and delivered leadership initiatives in many industries including the nuclear industry.
He has also written on leadership issues: he wrote a chapter in a recently published Tavistock Institute book, Dynamics at the Boardroom Level, is a co-author of Reflections and Challenges 2017: Sustaining Success in a Changing World, and has had articles published in Management Today, and other professional journals.

Louise is a qualified trainer and facilitator of Behavioural Intelligence, Intercultural Management, Global Leadership, and International Communication Skills. Certified as Global Executive coach and NLP Practitioner, she works with all levels from Top Talents to the Board in Corporations.
Louise is a humanist motivated by a profound desire to help people become the highest version of themselves in environments permeated by mutual respect.
She has developed her own powerful and transformative model for successful living and leading called ‘The 5 Chairs’, often described as ‘life-changing’. Her mission is to bring it to as many people as possible in organisations and communities across the world.
Having travelled to seventy-five countries and lived in three different cultures, Louise brings multiple perspectives to help people connect across their differences.
